Method of teaching, midterms and exams & public defense of papers in the winter semester 2020

Dear students,

Given the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemics and the constant increase in the number of new cases, due to the need to prevent infection and protect the health of students and staff, the European University informs you that classes and exercises will be conducted online.

The teaching / practical exercises in the winter semester 2020/2021 at the Faculty of Dentistry will be offered with physical presence in the following manner:

Preclinical exercises – with physical presence in compliance with protocols to prevent the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).

Clinical exercises – with physical presence if minimum conditions are met (patient consent, reduced number of students in a group, maximum protection at work and reduced aerosol dispersion at work). If the pre-defined conditions are not met, the exercises will be held on-line.

Scheduled colloquia in the November exam session will be conducted online.

The scheduled exams in the November exam session will be conducted both on-line and / or onsite on the University premises. Adherence to measures and protocols to prevent the spread of Covid-19 is mandatory.

The public defense of papers (seminary works, graduation thesis, master thesis) will be conducted with the physical presence of students on the premises of the University, with the exception (as needed)  of foreign students and / or students who for objective reasons can not be physically present.

Consultations with students will be conducted exclusively online.

The Student Administration Office and other adinistrative staff will be physically present at the University and all administrative services will be available during our office hours – from 08:00 to 16:00. We recommend on-line or telephone communication and prior notice for the need to issue / collect documents, as well as to avoid prolonged detention and grouping on the premises.
