Dear students,
Having in mind the active measures for prevention from Covid-19 and the Decree with legal force for application of the Law on Higher Education (“Official Gazette of RSM” No. 76/20), we inform you that the midterms (partial exams) and exams in the June exam period 2019 / 20, will be conducted online through video conferencing platforms and electronic communication tools that provide identification and control of students’ work during the exam.
Also, in the upcoming period, the European University will conduct online registration and defense of diploma / master’s theses through video conferencing platforms that provide identification and control of students’ work during the defense.

EXAM METHOD
The midterms/exams will be performed by oral examination of the students from the teacher joined by the assistant in the video conferencing at the moment of the examination. Appropriate digital proof will be obtained for the conducted examination (video / audio recording, screenshot, list of questions with remarks on the given answers, etc.).
For the vocational-art courses, practical work/paper will also be required, which the student will submit for inspection through e-mail communication.
The practical part of the midterms / exams at the Faculty of Dentistry will be conducted when there are suitable conditions.
HOW TO APPLY FOR MIDTERMS/EXAMS
Option 1: online with a completed e-Form (application for midterm / exam), available on the website of the University www.eu.edu.mk, submitted electronically with proof of payment, to the e-mail addresses of the clerks from the Student Services Office, as follows:
- Faculty of Dentistry
- Faculty of Dentistry – Dental Technicians, and
- Faculty of Economics
- Faculty of Detectives and Criminology, and
- Faculty of Law
- Faculty of Informatics, and
- Faculty of Art and Design
Option 2: at the counter in the Student Services Office, from 10:00 to 14:00 in the application deadlines (wearing a protective mask by students and employees is mandatory due to prevention of the spread of Covid-19);
The application fee is 460 denars [7,5€] per midterm (partial exam), 620 denars [10€] per exam.

There is no payment for a tax stamp.
Note: Students who have paid for an exam in the March session that did not take place, only need to submit an application for the exam, without additional fee. The previous payment will be taken into account.

SCHEDULE
The specific dates for conducting the midterms/exams for each course individually (date, time and duration of the midterm/exam, video conferencing platform to be used, etc.) will be announced on the website www.eu.edu.mk and the official Facebook page EUROPEAN UNIVERSITY (@EuropeanUniversitySkopje). Please visit and follow them regularly to get timely information.
REGISTRATION AND DEFENSE OF DIPLOMA / MASTER’S THESES
Any student who has fulfilled the obligations under the study program (I or II cycle) / has passed all the exams at the respective faculty, can electronically apply for defense of the diploma or master’s thesis at the above mentioned e-mail addresses of the clerks from the Student Services Office.
The defense will be conducted on-line through video conferencing platforms that provide identification and control of students’ work during the defense.
At the time of the defense, all members of the Committee will be connected by video conference. Appropriate digital proof will be obtained for the conducted defense (video / audio recording, screenshot, list of questions with remarks on the given answers, etc.).

In carrying out the procedure, the relevant provisions from the bylaws of the European University shall apply. This in regard to the Student Services Office, Teaching Councils , Mentors and Committees.
The date for the defense is determined in agreement with the Mentor.
At the same time, we remind you that during the interruption of the teaching process, you can receive all administrative services from the Student Services Office (issuance of certificates and other documents), through the clerk at duty. This method of application and conducting midterms/ exams, as well as the defense of the diploma / master’s thesis, will be applied until the introduced measures for protection and prevention of coronavirus (Covid-19) spread are changed.
